Hey everyone! And happy Columbus
Day! I figured since today was in celebration of discovery, I’d help you all
discover a few ways you can help your favorite writers be…discovered. J
There are so many easy ways to do
this and most of them take five minutes or less. One way you all support me is
by coming here on a regular basis and reading my blogs and zipping around my
website to find out what’s going on. Did you know you can actually follow my
blog? Aside from having it bookmarked, you can follow me either through Google
or through Networked Blogs. How? What are those? Well, it’s pretty easy. You’ll
see in the right hand sidebar two icons that show tracking of followers. If you
have a Google account of any sort you can click follow this blog and your name
will be added to my followers list. If you have a Facebook account, you can
join me through Networked Blogs which is a Facebook app. If you click join
through Networked Blogs it’ll let you join the app, then you can go there daily
to see what my posts are about and vote them up so they gain more exposure. J Super simple and quick
and so appreciated. Oh and if you come by and read something you find
interesting, share it with the world! At the end of each post there is a line
of icons giving you the option to share the post via Blogger, Facebook,
Twitter, and Google+. You simply click and share, takes all of two seconds and
really helps me get out there and reach more people. J
Do you Tweet? I do. J There’s another icon
in the right hand side bar you’ll find the link to my Twitter handle where you
can go follow me. I tweet daily and I have my Facebook Author page connected so
each time I update my Facebook, if you’re following my tweets, you’ll know. And
if you follow me on Twitter, retweeting helps me be seen. RT’s are greatly
appreciated.
Reviews…do we as writers love
them or hate them? For me I am most grateful for them be they good, bad, or
otherwise. And, reader reviews at Amazon help
my work be seen more often. So, please, if you’ve purchased any of my
work and have an Amazon account—you don’t have to have proof you purchased it
there, a short, honest assessment would be most appreciated. It takes but a few
moments and it helps me determine how to make my work better meet your
expectations because I then know what you liked and what you didn’t. J
Facebook. I know, I recently
closed my profile, but I’m still there. I just converted to a fan page. I’d be
so grateful if you liked my page, and not just liked it, but if you were an
active participant there that would be wonderful. I like reader and fan
feedback and there is where you can leave me messages, ask me questions, and
get regular updates on my work and where I’m out blog touring, etc. You can
find me here: http://www.facebook.com/LilaMunroAuthor
And speaking of Facebook, if I
have a link to a book you’ve purchased and liked, please feel free to recommend
it to your friends and share my links. I’d love it if you did. J
These are just a few of the ways
you can help me be discovered…and you can help other authors in all of these
ways as well.
You’re all the best fans in the world
and if I’ve not said thank you lately…Thank you! Have a great holiday and see
you back here soon…
Lila
